Software License Agreement

By using ROV Companion, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully, specifically the sections regarding Beta usage and liability in offshore environments.

1. Software Use

ROV Companion is a specialized tool for inventory and operations management. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on authorized devices according to your membership tier.

2. Beta Program Terms

The software is currently in Beta. It is provided "as is" and "as available" for testing and feedback purposes. While we strive for industrial stability, users should maintain backups of critical data during this phase.

3. Operational Safety

ROV Companion is an administrative and management tool. It should not be used as the sole source of safety-critical data in life-threatening situations. Always follow your vessel’s primary SMS (Safety Management System) protocols.

4. Restrictions

You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the ROV Companion Sync Engine or core database architecture without explicit permission from NYX Co. Ltd.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NYX Co. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software, including but not limited to loss of operational data or downtime during mobilization.
